On the historic site of the former Funkwerk Köpenick, where innovations in communication technology once originated, ZSB, in cooperation with its project partner, is creating a modern urban quarter. Here, 438 apartments are being realized, bringing new living space and fresh air to this historic environment.

A highlight of the project is the planned senior residence, designed as a closed quarter with an idyllic, protected courtyard. This place of tranquility and security offers older residents a home where they can feel completely at ease.

Additionally, a boarding house is being built on the site, enabling flexible temporary living and providing an ideal solution for business travelers and transitional situations. A daycare center is also being constructed, offering the youngest members of the community a place to play, learn, and grow.

This new urban quarter combines history and present, tradition and innovation. The development by ZSB breathes new life into the former Funkwerk and creates a vibrant, intergenerational living space that meets the needs of all residents.
